This Plastic/Paper material is our most popular twist tie spool used on the Tie-Matic HD38, HD58 and HD78 machines. The #312 spools are designed with a metal core encased in plastic and paper to resist rust. The flexible core and plastic/paper sheath wrap around an object to be bundled. From the Food Industry to the Industrial Marketplace, our spools provide the perfect closure for your applications. With 2000 feet of genuine Plas-Ties' twist tie material, you are assured of optimal performance from your Tie-Matic HD Twist-Tying Machines. Choose from a variety of colors, including: Red, White, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Black, Brown, Tan, Grey, and Violet. Packaged with 5 spools per case, these spools will keep your assembly line in constant motion.
Uniform in color with no discoloration. The tie surface is to be smooth except where necessary to conform to the wire. The tie shall have no kinks, twists, or tears, which would interfere with performance on customer’s machines or detract from finished package appearance. Construction to consist of plastic/paper lamination. Lamination bond will be of such strength that plastic/paper tear will result before de-lamination of plastic/paper surface occurs. The traverse rate shall be fast enough to prevent tie tangling. The spooled tie shall have sufficient traverse and proper edge build so that no overwinds (or other problems) occur which would prevent steady payout from the spool.
