Pro Gaff® black Gaffers tape is a very economical, extremely high quality and reliable product that is made of a 12 mil vinyl-coated cotton cloth backing with a synthetic rubber adhesive. This allows the tape to be very resistant to light reflection and extremely adhesive. The Gaffer tape has enhanced adhesive properties that leave no residue behind when it’s removed and provides an excellent seal from dust and dirt with a tensile strength of 48 lbs per inch and is adhesive to steel at 60 oz. per inch. Our bulk Gaffers tape can be used anywhere and Gaffer tape also meets Government Specifications A-A-1568A and PPP-T-60E. Our Black Gaffers tape is also extremely easy to use. It can be torn by hand and requires no scissors or utility knives! It also can easily be manipulated to fit irregular shapes and surfaces
